Job Title: Staff Scientist/Engineer/Geologist

Salary Range: $60,000 to $80,000, depending on experience
Reports To: Senior Geologist

Position Overview:
As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to lead and execute a variety of environmental compliance projects with oversight from senior staff. You'll work closely with our project teams to overcome challenges and meet our clients' needs. Your role will involve supporting projects with report and deliverable preparation, with a focus on Colorado soil and groundwater site investigations. Additionally, you’ll support our GIS department with basic figure preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate laboratory analytical reports, prepare data packets, and work under the guidance of more senior staff to propose next steps to achieve project goals.
Work closely with both field staff and office personnel to prepare reports and project deliverables.
Work with GIS department to prepare figures such as site location maps and sample location figures.
Field support up to 20% of the time, typically within 2 hours of the Denver area. Overnight travel not regularly anticipated.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR) that meet Company’s Insurance qualifications to operate Company vehicle.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc. and use/operation of standard office equipment.
Self-motivated and assertive. Comfortable in open discussion with personality ranges from field hands to construction and design groups.
Ability to be detail-oriented, set priorities, monitor progress towards goals, and track details, data, information, activities, etc.
Good time management and organizational skills to meet set deadlines.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Oil and Gas experience
Experience with Colorado (ECMC) spill reporting
Experience with ArcGIS
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field of study
0-4 years of relevant industry experience
